From Conflict to Connection
6-7:30pm
Conflict is a natural part of family relationships, but navigating disagreements can become challenging when emotions run high. This psychoeducational group will explore why conflict happens, how stress and emotional responses can influence communication, and practical strategies for navigating difficult conversations.
Participants will learn how to:
- Recognize patterns that can escalate family conflict
- Identify personal signs of emotional escalation and stress
- Use communication and de-escalation strategies during disagreements
- Practice active listening, validation, and expressing needs effectively
- Understand the role of healthy boundaries during conflict
- Repair relationships and move forward after disagreements
The goal is to help families approach conflict with greater understanding, communication, and connection.
