This interactive session will provide a wide range of coping strategies to help you to feel more confident about overcoming potential challenges to your sense of wellness – especially now as we enter the winter months with the continuing shadow of Covid-19.
Facilitators will provide tips and strategies related to evidence-based self-care and resiliency practices as well as offer interactive exercises to engage participants in the discussion. Participants can expect to leave the session with ideas to implement right away.
Facilitator, Kim Sunderland, offers peer support and mental wellness training. Kim is co-creator of the Supporting Through Struggle workshop and co-author of Mental Health Commission of Canada Peer Support Guidelines.
