Rexall holiday campaign raising funds for CMHA
Nov 19, 2020
A new Rexall holiday campaign is raising funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).
Running from Nov. 17 through Dec. 24, Rexall stores in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan are hosting a holiday bubble campaign, which gives customers and patients the opportunity to purchase a ‘holiday bubble’ for $2 or round up their purchase to the nearest dollar. Proceeds raised will support community-based mental health and addictions services and caregiver programs provided by local CMHAs across Canada.
Specifically, funds will go toward the Living Life to the Full program in Ontario, the Caregiver Affected Recovery Education program (C.A.R.E.) in Saskatchewan, OSI-CAN first responders peer support in Alberta, mental health education for families in Manitoba, and virtual caregiver support groups, parent groups and suicide bereavement groups in B.C.
To kick off the campaign, CMHA National CEO Margaret Eaton will participate in a virtual Spotlight on Caregivers panel event hosted by Jann Arden on Nov. 17.
This Rexall holiday campaign follows the success of their June campaign to raise funds for CM
