Justice Safe Bed Program -Launching 2024

The Justice Safe Bed program offers short-term housing and basic necessities for individuals (16+) in mental health or addiction crisis, diverting them from incarceration or unnecessary hospitalization.

They’re considered unsuitable for hospital admission and arrest, but need short-term mental health residential placement. Services are provided regionally through our embedded Assertive Outreach team in Midland, Orillia, and Barrie.

This program serves the most marginalized individuals who are less likely to access traditional services. Our team offers on-location support, including medical services and urgent supplies, and connects individuals to other supportive programs
