New Locations in Barrie and Orillia Enhance Mental Health and Addiction Services

The Canadian Mental Health Association, Simcoe County Branch (CMHA SCB), is pleased to announce the relocation of select Barrie and Orillia programs to new spaces beginning in January 2026. These moves demonstrate CMHA SCB’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible, coordinated, and high-quality mental health and addiction services across Simcoe County.
Barrie Locations

- Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) Team – January 22
- Family Centredness, Inclusivity & Priority Populations – January 29
- Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program – January 29 and February 2
“Moving to 99 Ferris Lane represents a significant step forward for CMHA SCB,” said Sarah Banbury, CEO. “This new space strengthens our ability to serve clients, foster collaboration, and expand the reach of our programs across the community.”
These moves will strengthen collaboration across teams while ensuring seamless delivery of services to clients with no disruption.
Orillia Location

Effective January 2026
Programs currently located at 76 and 50 Nottawasaga Street will consolidate at 94 Colborne Street. Relocating programs include:
- Addiction Services – January 13
- Court Support and Release from Custody Program – January 13
- Peer Support – January 13
- Harm Reduction Services – January 13
- North Simcoe Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team – February 2
- Telemedicine/Virtual Care – January 30
“Moving to this new location will make it easier for our clients to access the support they need,” said Dianne Mowat, Manager of the North Simcoe ACT Team. “It’s about being closer, more connected, and more responsive to our community.”
Clients will continue to access all services without interruption, and staff are available to ensure a smooth transition.
