Reflections of Gratitude: Wishing You a Peaceful Holiday Season
Dec 21, 2023
Amidst the enchanting tapestry of celebrations this season brings, we are reminded of the diverse traditions that weave a narrative of hope and renewal. From the vibrant hues of Diwali to the radiant glow of Hanukkah candles, from the festive cheer of Christmas to the reflective essence of Kwanzaa and annual pilgrimage to Mecca, each celebration carries its unique message of optimism.
My deepest gratitude extends to our exceptional staff, dedicated volunteers, aspiring students, supportive community partners, generous donors, and the entire CMHA National and CMHA Ontario/Branch family. Your unwavering support has been the cornerstone in our mission to ensure high quality and compassionate Mental Health and Addiction services for Simcoe County residents.
In 2023, our team’s exceptional dedication shone through! Strengthening communication via the ‘CMHA Connect’ Intranet, integrating vital CMHA SCB services and supports, managing several capital planning projects with many, many moves, and expanding our impactful Peer Support Program exemplified by our commitment to individuals with lived/living experiences guiding clients and families. We also initiated planning efforts and architectural design for our new flagship facility on Ferris Lane in Barrie. These achievements and countless more demonstrate our unwavering commitment to supporting individuals and families in their pursuit of improved mental health and well-being.
May this season bring each of you cherished moments filled with boundless joy and tranquility. Wishing you and your loved ones a holiday season brimming with warmth, togetherness, and the anticipation of a promising New Year.
Warmest wishes from the Board of Directors and Management Team of CMHA Simcoe County Branch for a peaceful, safe, and joyous holiday season!
Dr. Valerie Grdisa, CEO CMHA Simcoe County Branch
