Skills for safer living group

The Simcoe County Suicide Awareness Council and the Canadian Mental Health Association Simcoe County Branch invite you to participate in the Skills for Safer Living Group.
This group is for individuals who have made one or more suicide attempts.
The Skills for Safer Living group follows a 20-week format, delivered in two, 10-week sessions. The next group will be running beginning in the fall of 2019.
This is a closed group and will be delivered in Barrie. Spaces are limited.
Eligibility criteria to Participate:
- One or more suicide attempts
- Must have professional supports in the community
- 16 years of age and over
If you are interested in participating or would like to make a referral please call 705-728-5044 for more information. An Intake Assessment will be completed after receiving a referral.
Location and Dates of the group will be provided to eligible participates ONLY.
