All Adult Addiction Groups (25 yrs +) are currently running virtually on Zoom and are offered 3 times a year starting in September, January and April
New members are welcome to join up to week 2 of each cycle. Each group is limited to 20 participants

New Beginnings
A psycho educational group designed for clients in the contemplation, preparation or early action stages of change. This 8 week program aims to assist clients in early recovery by promoting group discussion, understanding and skill development while providing tools that may assist in making changes to substance use. Topics include the concept of harm reduction, stages of change, goal setting, recognizing and understanding triggers and cravings, coping skills, boundaries, communication and assertiveness, understanding emotions, the importance of supports, and self care. This group has been developed as introduction to the concepts of recovery.
Resilient Change / Aftercare
This group is designed for clients who have completed a treatment program or have a period of recovery of 3 months or greater, and are seeking additional support to maintain momentum, reinforce learned concepts and benefit from the lived experience of other members. This group relies almost exclusively on group discussion and peer support with topics generated through individual client check-ins. Duration – 8 weeks, 2 hours per session
Women’s Group
This group is for those who identify as women (18+) and are in the preparation to maintenance stage of change. The group provides a safe and supportive environment to come together to work on moving through recovery specifically as a woman. Some topics include stigma, boundaries, relationships, and relapse prevention.
