Family Health Team (FHT)

Eligibility: Patients of Barrie and Community Family Health Team Physician.

Referral: Physician must refer to FHT – Mental Health Services.

In partnership with Barrie and Community Family Health Team, our Mental Health Therapists and Psychiatrists offer short-term, focused, and confidential support for issues like depression, anxiety, stress, grief, and relationship problems. Services vary based on the issue. We may also collaborate with other community resources.

Services include:

• Individual and couple counseling.
• Child and family services, including referrals to specialized children’s services.
• Educational groups covering depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, and emotional eating.
• Psychiatric consultation for children, youth, and adults.
• Linkages to community resources.

Hours: 9-5, Mon-Fri.
